Deeply Rooted Tree Care, LLC (DRTC) was founded in September 2016 by Jason Hipp. After years of working as an arborist for the City of Baltimore and then a large corporate tree care company, he realized the desperate need for more personal, client-based relationships.  This need stems from knowing that people care about their environment and the value and beauty it brings to their property.  Jason’s passion for the science behind trees and plants is evident the minute you speak with him.

Owner, Jason Hipp, is an ISA Certified Arborist, Licensed MD Tree Expert, and Certified Roadside Tree Expert.  He holds an MD Commercial Pesticide Applicator License and an Associate Degree in Horticulture.  He is a member of the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA), International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the Maryland Arborist Association (MAA).

 

Aside from enjoying his outdoor business, Jason likes spending time hiking and camping with his wife, Sara, daughter, Lillian, and two dogs, Duke and Cooper. He also faithfully services his local church as a deacon and is involved in various other church and community activities. As an Army Veteran, Jason adheres to and practices its core values of “LDERSHIP:” Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal courage. These values are the driving force behind his personal and professional life.
